ELIGIBILITY
Who can join?
Signatory companies must be engaged in the production of oil and gas and support the ambitions and principles of the Charter. The Charter recognizes that companies have different starting points and operating environments — all stages of the decarbonization journey are welcome.
Note: The Charter does not create any legally binding obligation. Companies remain subject to the laws and regulations of their own jurisdictions.
Open to NOCs, IOCs and independents
All stages of decarbonization are welcome
Signatory data is anonymized and commercially sensitive information is never shared
Scope 3 emissions are outside the Charter's scope
